I'm a beauty junkie - there, I said it. I get so excited when one of my favourite beauty brands launch a new product; my inner beauty-geek comes out when there's talks of new revolutionary formulations and technology, and my heart beats a little faster when I see to-die-for packaging. My collection is pretty big, but there's some staples that I found in 2016, that have since never left my beauty bag. So, I have decided to round up my Best In Beauty favourites that I discovered last year. Find out why I love them and why they are the best of the bunch.
If you like what you see; please leave me a comment below :) And I'd love to know what your can't-live-without beauty buys are too!

Best highstreet foundation: Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation - Click product name to shop
My all-time favourite foundation lies in this bottle. Hands up - I didn't discover this in 2016 but I am yet to find a high street foundation that I love more than this one. As I have sensitive skin; it's hard for me to find products that agree with me but this one has never let me down. It's long-lasting formula and high coverage gives me an airbrushed finish that I love.

Best high-end foundation: Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
So, sometimes it's good to mix up your trusty favourites and try something new. That's exactly what I done when I tried the famous Double Wear and it hasn't left my makeup bag since. It has a gorgeous high coverage finish but still leaves me with a dewy glow. It's the ultimate party-proof base that I'll reach for when I have a big night out or event to go to.

Best illuminator: Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Illuminator
This is summer in a bottle and I can't get enough of it. A drop on the cheekbones for a golden dew; a wash over the eyelids for an understated look or a mix-up with my foundation for a glowy base. It's luxurious but a real multi-tasking beauty buy.

Best primer: Bare Minerals Prime Time Primer
This primer isn't in shot - purely, because I love it so much that I've run out. Hands down the best primer I've ever tried; it's dewy and golden to give you that fresh base. And the best thing is it makes your skin feel softer than silk - I'm hooked.

Best paste concealer: Benefit Boi-ing and Lemon Aid concealer - Click product name to shop
I snapped up these concealers in a little set; but they are available to buy full-size and separately. The consistency of these concealers are great because they're a little thicker, to cover any blemishes or dark circles. I use the Boi-ing if a spot creeps up on me and Lemon Aid for my under eyes.

Best liquid concealer: bareMinerals BareSkin Concealer
Thank the beauty gods for this miracle mix. This creamy, hydrating, dewy concealer glides and blends into the skin so perfectly. I love it for my everyday makeup look and I dab it into the skin using a beauty blender. I'm so glad I discovered this last year!

Best blusher: Rodial Blusher in Copacabana
Rodial packaging is ultimate goals, and although their products are a bit pricey - it's worth the money. This beautiful blush compact is so perfect for carrying in my handbag, and the peachy-pink shade gives me the most gorgeous rosy glow on the apples of my cheeks.

Best cream highlighter: Iconic London Strobe Stick - Click product name to shop
This stick is SO dreamy and the best part is, it's so easy to apply too. I swipe this highlight stick over the high points of my face including my cheekbones and the finish is amazing. It's formula is super pigmented so it really catches the light and blends amazingly.

Best powder highlighter: Makeup Revolution Pro Illuminate
This jumbo-sized highlighter is incredible. I think I've been through four of these, and I'll be re-purchasing it again when it runs out. This highlight is a beautiful champagne-toned powder, and it's so incredibly pigmented so you can reach all kinds of #highlightgoals.

Best highlight palette: Makeup Revolution Ultra Pro Glow
I could stare at this palette all day; and it's my favourite in my collection. Not only is it crazily affordable for a full-sized palette of highlighters, but everything about it is spot on - the shades, the pigment, the finish. Just try it, and you'll see why I'm so in love.
Best contour palette: Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette - Click product name to shop
I'm so happy I was able to attend Kat Von D's press launch last year in the UK, because I have now fallen head over heels for her products. The formula of these highlight and contour powders is like nothing I've tried before. So many thumbs up for this palette!

Best makeup brushes: Zoeva Rose Golden Brushes
Not only do these brushes look so pretty on your dressing table, they are the best I've found. The bristles are so soft and they come in the most perfect shapes and sizes, to achieve flawless makeup. I've collected a lot of them in the range and they are seriously amazing.

Best eyebrow pencil: Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil - Click product name to shop
YES to the Benefit eyebrow range. They have basically every pencil and gel you could ever wish for. My favourite is this one as it's so delicate and precise. The thin nib means you can mimic brow hairs so easily, and the brush comb on the other end comes in really handy.

Best eyebrow pomade: Freedom Makeup Brow Pomade
A dupe for the Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Pomade, without the hefty price tag! For me, this high street brow pomade is just as good as the real thing, and you can get the most defined carved-out brows using this.

Best eyebrow concealer: Vichy Dermablend Concealer
If I am going to a big event or a glam night out, I usually take a bit more care and time with my makeup and that involves carving out my brows. I love this ultra thick stick concealer for tidying up my brow shape, and it's also amazing for covering spots too!

Best lengthening mascara: Lancome Hypnose Volume-A-Porter Mascara - Click product name to shop
Call me crazy, but before 2016 I had never tried a Lancome Mascara. I know. Now I realise what I was missing out on because this mascara is insane. The fine, precise brush and bristles really push up your lashes so they're defined and super-long.

Best volumising mascara: Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I'd heard a lot of hype about this mascara before I tried it, and I completely understand why now. It has a chunky brush head with tons of long and short bristles to give you a false-lash kinda' look. It's my glam go-to mascara.

Best kohl eyeliner: Zoeva Black Box Eyeliner
I don't tend to wear black kohl eyeliner much anymore as I tend to lean more towards brown tones; but if I am running a black eyeliner in my waterline then this is one I reach for. The pencil is ultra, ultra black and pigmented, so it gives you that amazingly intense cat-eye look.

Best liquid eyeliner: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
Another Kat Von D product that I cannot get enough of, is her hero Tattoo Liquid Eyeliner. You may have read amazing reviews on this liner because it seems like everyone who has tried it, loves it. It's neat, thin nib makes eyeliner flicks a breeze - trust me.

Best eyeshadow palette: Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours The Brave Eyeshadow Palette - Click product name to shop
Hats off to Jane, British Beauty Blogger, for collabing on my favourite eyeshadow palette of the year. Makeup Revolution eyeshadows are my absolute favourite, and the shades in this palette are ones that I have reached for time and time again. It'll never date, and it'll never stop looking like the prettiest palette I've ever seen.

Best eyeshadow primer: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
A staple. If you don't know about the Urban Decay Primer Potion; then you need to start googling it ASAP. It's the ultimate primer if you want to get the most out of your eyeshadow, if you want it to apply flawlessly and if you want it to last all night.

Best cream eyeshadow: The Body Shop Eye Colour Stick
I have been obsessed with swiping this creamy eyeshadow stick over my lids, for a glam and quick eye look. I apply straight from the bullet and take a fluffy brush to blend it out beautifully into the crease. It's a great wonder product, that doesn't budge once it's settled in.

Best lipstick: L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick - Click product name to shop
My favourite lipstick formulation by far! Not only are they super affordable, I love the creamy, soft formula of them and they also stay put for *hours*. In the classic formula I love Beige A Nu (a natural everyday nude), Mon Jules (my staple red) and Place Vendome (a deep red-based purple); and in the Matte formula I love Erotique which is a beautiful dusky rose.

Best lipliner: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk
This lipliner has won so many awards; and I can see why! At first I wasn't such a fan, but then once I wore down the lip liner a bit, I absolutely loved it. It's creamy and glides on so easily, and this shade is the ultimate go-to nude.

Best lipgloss: Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in Smoky Topaz
You know when you don't really realise how much you love a product, until you count up how many people have complimented you on it. Well that's what happened with this high street beauty! This gloss has a super high-shine finish and the light nude shade, compliments my skin tone so well. I just love it.

Best unique lip product: NYX Cosmic Metals in Speed Of Light
As my obsession with rose gold continues; you can imagine how excited I was to try this lip cream of dreams. Before I tried it, I was sceptical because I hadn't seen a product like it before; but then when I tried it on - it was love at first sight! The texture is beautifully creamy and the shade is *so* metallic; that when I wear it, I have everybody asking me 'what are you wearing on your lips?!' with major heart eyes.

Best loose powder: Laura Mercier Setting Powder Translucent - Click product name to shop
Meeting Laura Mercier herself last year was definitely a highlight, and the moment I was taught so many tricks of the trade. The translucent powder is a hero for a reason; it's beautiful loose blend is perfect for setting makeup in place and also for baking underneath the eyes too.

Best bronzer: Benefit Hoola Bronzer
From the word go, Dallas has always been my favourite Benefit Bronzer; until I gave Hoola a go in 2016. This shade is beautiful for contouring and bronzing, and the formula is one of the best I've tried. This is always in my handbag now for a bronze touch-up on-the-go.

Best multi-purpose balm: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream
So many yes's for the Eight Hour Cream. I loved it last year, I love it now and I'll love it next year. It's a classic and an investment buy for your makeup bag. When my skin is super dry, I apply this onto my entire face before bed to act as a moisturising face mask. My lips have never been softer after using this, and it's the perfect eye base for glitter. LOVE.
Best face wash: Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser - Click product name to shop
The one face wash that my skin will always love. This cleanser is targeted to sensitive skin so it gently cleanses my face. I'll either use cotton pads or a flannel to wash it off, and it's my staple for every morning and evening.

Best day cream: Philosophy Take A Deep Breath Gel Cream
During my trip to Devon, I was introduced to this gel-cream; and I am so thankful I was. It's the most hydrating, soothing product I've ever put on my face and it instantly wakes you up. It literally feels like heaven when you've had a late night or you're suffering from a hangover.

Best night cream: Avene TriAcneal Expert
When I was suffering with acne, Avene come to the rescue. I use this cream religiously before bed, to hydrate my skin and keep blemishes away. If you're suffering from blemished skin and spots; I would recommend Avene so much. Their products saved me when nothing else seemed to work.

Best body scrub: Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Exfoliating Body Cleanser - Click product name to shop
Take a sniff of this and tell me that it doesn't transport you to a hot, tropical beach. It's INCREDIBLE. The gentle beads in the body cleanser will tackle dry skin and fading fake tan, but it's also super nourishing at the same time to leave your body feeling super smooth.

Best body cream: Garnier Ultimate Blends Delicate Oat Body Balm
This tub of body butter is so dreamy. The consistency of the balm is fairly thick, and creamy yet it melts into the skin so beautifully. The scent is gorgeous and I love how soft my skin feels after using it. It's the ultimate treat after a long hot bath.
Best gradual tan: Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk - Click product name to shop
This gradual tan has stood by me through thick and thin, summer and winter. I LOVE it. As it's a gradual tan in the consistency of a body lotion, it's so quick and easily to apply! I'm so obsessed with the coconut scent, and it leaves you with such a nice natural glow.

Best self-tan: Bondi Sands Self-Tanning Foam Dark
If I have a big event or night-out to go to; then this is the tan I turn to. I leave it on throughout the day if I'm working from home, or apply it before I go to bed the night before. After one application I look like I've just had a weekend away in the sun, it's amazing! I have the new Ultra Dark tan that's launching soon in my possession and I can't wait to give it a go.

Best instant tan: Rimmel SunShimmer Instant Tan BB
Yes to this instant tan that airbrushes my skin! It is a little thick, so takes a bit longer to buff into the body, but once it's on you won't believe how good your skin looks. I've been wearing this for my TV presenting jobs and I now won't go on air without it.

Best shampoo and conditioner: Label M Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner - Click product name to shop
My hair is super fine, and I'm constantly moaning about that. But after using this thickening shampoo and conditioner, I have noticed such a difference when blowdrying my hair! It has clever technology to instantly plump out the hair strands, so my hair feels so much more voluminous and thicker after washing.

Best hairspray: Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry and Vanilla Hairspray
When I was choosing my favourite hairspray, nothing quite compares to my all-time favourite. Not only is the raspberry and vanilla scent to die for; it's the best at keeping my hair firmly in place when I'm out partying. Whether I'm curling my hair or slicking it back; I always rummage to find this spray!
Best styler: GHD V Marine Allure Stylers - Click product name to shop
There's something about these stylers that won my heart over when I tried them. The first time I gave these Marine Stylers a go was on my YouTube channel; and you'll see my instant reaction of LOVE. The curved edges and smooth plates make curling my hair *so*easy; and no styler has ever made my hair look so glossy afterwards.

Best heat protectant: Goldwell Kerasilk Rich Protective Oil
Not only is my hair fine, it's also super dry. Yes, it sucks. But when you've got this oil in your life, everything seems a little bit better. I use this heat protectant on my damp hair before drying and dry hair before styling - it's pretty damn good. The oil injects all the moisture and goodness into my hair so it's super glossy at the ends.

Best hair mousse: L'Oreal Studio Pro Curl Mousse
2016 - the year of discovering I need mousse in my life. I pop this one onto the roots of my hair before drying, and it gives me that salon-like volume. I'm no good at professionally blow-drying my hair, so this is great for giving me that bounce without me having to try too hard.

Best dry shampoo: COLAB Dry Shampoo
No white-residue is music to my ears. I have used COLAB ever since it launched and it won me over in the first spray. I love it because I see it as a mix between a dry shampoo and texture spray. Sometimes I might just need a bit of grit and texture to my hair, and this is the product I use! I'm also completely obsessed with the new packaging - and I feature in their new campaign launching soon. I cannot WAIT to show you!

Best nail polish: OPI Worth A Pretty Penne and Sunrise...Bedtime!
The best of the best. Nothing quite beats OPI and these two shades were the winners of 2016 for me. Worth A Pretty Penne was obviously always going to be my number one as it's rose gold. We all know I'm obsessed. And Sunrise...Bedtime!, from the Breakfast At Tiffany's collection, is one of the most beautiful glitters I've ever seen. I wore it over my nude nail polish on NYE and absolutely loved it.
Best feminine perfume: Chloe EDT - Click product name to shop
Chloe fragrances are so timelessly classic. The EDT has to be my favourite, and it's a fragrance I always get complimented on when I wear it. It's such a delicate, soft, pretty, floral scent that has white roses in it's blend. It reminds me of a fresh spring day, I just love it.

Best date-night perfume: Agent Provocateur Fatale
This perfume is the sexy one. When I'm all dressed up and going for a special dinner, this is the perfume that makes me feel confident. Its juice has a mix of pink pepper, musk and vanilla orchid; the ultimate date-night scent.

Best glam perfume: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Gold Couture
I love, love, love Juicy Couture fragrances and this one has to be my all-time favourite. Firstly the packaging is just amazing - I love the huge gold bottle, crystal top and black bow. But secondly the fragrance is so gorgeous. It fun, glamorous and perfect for a night out with the girls.
